Oceanside Beach May 21, 2016

After Cape Meares, we drove to nearby Oceanside Beach.  In spite of rain and wind, the parking lots were full.  Part of that was because of the 15 or more parasails and hanggliders.

Here is a video of one of them landing.

It is a very beautiful beach and because of Oregon law, it is open to the public, even though there are many expensive homes looking down on the beach.

That is a for sale sign on the far right hand side of the balcony.

At the north end of the beach, we saw this doorway into the cliff.  We were told it was a tunnel to the next beach but not to go unless you had lights and were ready to climb over all the debris from winter storms.
