A quiet second half of October 2015

After our trips to Portland, the second half of October was quiet.  We continued to thin out our belongings by gathering up things and donating them to Goodwill.

Patty and I volunteered at the Desert Botanical Garden helping to install the Bruce Munro exhibits of lights.

I have discovered that Phoenix city government has an office that deals with graffiti.  I find things while out walking the dog, take a photo and email the city office with the address - and presto, the graffiti is painted over.

The Desert Botanical Garden also has a small museum space, and this fall they have a collection of work that is done with photography - Beyond Blue.

The Tuesday Docents at the DBG celebrated Halloween with one of our pot luck luncheons.

A fitting way to end the month!
