We continue to stay at home due to Covid-19, April 26 - May 3, 2020

Governor Ducey has extended the State of Arizona stay at home order, so we continue to shelter in place.  We continue to go out for walks and only make minimal trips to places of business.

We received a nice gift of whole bean coffee from Ben and Martha - five varieties from a local shop in Portland.  So each morning, I grind enough beans for that day's pot of coffee and we enjoy fresh ground and brewed coffee.

It is spring and so we are seeing many trees and bushes in bloom.

We have beautiful sunrises from our back yard.

When I go to the grocery store, there are still many sections where shelves are empty - here is the rice section at Safeway.

I continue to help people navigate Zoom - this was a private session with Sonny before he did his first group session with the Tuesday Docents.

I replaced a 12 inch circular florescent light fixture with an LED light fixture in the laundry room - it is brighter, has no bulbs, uses less electricity and is expected to last 45 - 50 years.  I now know that any future replacements will be LED lights.

The big project we have started is the fence in the back yard.  I have been removing all boards, vigorously using a wire brush on them, rinsing them with the jet stream from our hose, painting all four sides and both ends with two coats of stain and then installing them.  I do a section every other day so the project will not be finished any time soon - it will easily take us through the stay at home time.

Patty selected the window treatments for the master bedroom and we ordered them from Amazon - we have received the curtain rods and the curtains should come in the next week; more on that in a future post.
