They had a certificate ceremony for us. The Hungarians and Slovaks received a bottle of wine, while the Anglos received a bottle with some type of paprika based sauce - paprika is an internationally famous condiment of Hungary. Sebastian and Fannie were our program coordinators for the week. Several of the Hungarians left early and were not there on Friday.
Gyula missed the ceremony because of some business phone calls, but then came to say goodbye to all at lunch.
Friday evening, once back in Budapest, after my visit to the American Embassy, Harry and I met for dinner at the Budapest Bisztro for a pleasant dinner and then walked to 2.5 kms back to the hotel. We took in a number of the sights.
Just as London has the big eye, so does Hungary. It is quite spectacular lit up at night.
We also went through part of the Jewish Quarter.
