Angloville - Scenes from Sept. 13 - 15, 2015

Hotel Gellert is a beautiful old hotel.  I loved the stained glass windows in the stairwell.  I got a coouple of photos as I went down to the restaurant for breakfast on Sunday (these should have been on the earlier post, but they ended up here).

We started with the short drive to Hotel Nyerges in Monor, Hungary - less than an hour from Budapest.  Our first meal was these noodles with cream sauce and bacon chunks.

All of our meals were eaten outside, except for breakfast where you could choose either inside or outside.

The hotel has a nice, large pool and thermal spa.

Beautiful flowers were throughout the lobby.

We posed for a group photo.

This is Evlin (from Australia) helping program director Fannie with the settings on the camera for the group photo
In the conference room, we would have group activities and games, as well as the entertainment provided by participants and where the thirteen Hungarian and two Slovakian participants gave their presentations - they all had to do a five to ten minute presentation in English.  Our work during the week included daily sessions helping them prepare.  I worked each day with Maria.  She is an organ transplant coordinator for the National Health System and the University of Pecs (a large city south of Budapest).
