After the long day of travel Sunday, Sunday evening and Monday were spent unwinding and adjusting to the eight hour time difference, and doing laundry. Tuesday the 4th, I had my usual day at the Desert Botanical Garden - it was a cold day, but spring is approaching and the desert is starting to bloom.
Tuesday evening, we celebrated "thirsty Tuesday" with a potluck dinner in the Carlyle clubhouse - vegan ceviche by Kelli, orzo with roasted veggies by Ken, and pizza (from Spinatos) and sweet kale salad (from Costco with my modifications) by me. Patty and Marin joined us for a couple of hours of good conversation, drinks and food. And we were all entertained by the dogs, Kilo, Piney and Paulie.
Wednesday the 5th was a day of packing and getting ready for my trip to Portugal with Habitat for Humanity. And Wednesday evening, it was off to the Mesa Arts Center for the Moth Mainstage.
