We packed up the van with much more stuff to bring to Portland than we could have with the Volvo. This was the good thing that came out of the accident. As you can see, we got a lot of stuff inside the van.
We set a course for Pahrump, Nevada. We headed northwest and our first stop was in Wikiup, Arizona, for gas. They had a most interesting sculpture garden.
We drove on, passing many familiar sites - Nothing, AZ; Kingman, AZ; Hoover Dam; and Las Vegas. We arrived before dinner time and spent a pleasant evening there.
