Over the days there, we played Trivial Pursuit and ate in most meals. Megan, Patty and I visited Astoria Tower, Patty and Megan visited Columbia River Maritime Museum while I walked to get exercise, and we watched the movie "Deepwater Horizon." On Sunday, Megan and Patty went to Cape Disappointment in Washington and Monday morning, they went Kayaking on the river using one of Jim's kayaks.
The seals were in town - we had heard a few while walking on the riverwalk but when I was out walking by myself, there were hundreds on the 36th St Dock.
And then it was back to Portland Monday afternoon to pick up Mr. Shadow from the Howliday Inn.
