Angloville Part II, Exploring Lipowy Most Hotel, town and environs, Monday, Nov. 12, 2018

Monday morning, I walked around the back side of the hotel and found that there is a statue of a buck in the parking circle behind the dining room.

On the other side of the parking circle, you can see that there is logging being done nearby.

Back in front of the hotel, they have a nice covered area that could be used for picnics and during the off season it now stores the bicycles they have for guests to use.

I then left the hotel property and headed off to explore.

In one direction, there was a sign that gave the name of the next village and a distance of 12 kilometers.  I went that way to see what might be there.  There is a lot of logging going on, and the further I went, the more logs there were, both on the main road and on the side roads.

There were even some bird houses -  not near any homes; there were no human homes in this direction, just bird houses on random trees along the road.

After about a mile, I turned around.  I passed the entrance to the hotel and explored the clubhouse and grounds of the golf course.

Then I headed towards the village of Lipowy Most.  There were several homes that appeared to be vacation homes for wealthy families.

And there was property that listed as for sale (sprzedam) and some that was fenced and marked as private property - no trespassing.

As I crossed into the village, the several dozen properties were modest homes and farms.

The road crosses a stream and the sign says this is a point for taking water - from talking to the Polish participants and from what I could see, this is where the farmers could take water for their livestock and/or irrigation.

I passed by a sign for a boarding house that has rooms rented to hunters.

Several of the homes had huge crosses 3 - 4 meters/10 - 12 feet tall but with very small figures of
Christ on them - about 15 centimeters/6 inches tall.

Then I crossed out of the village and into a forest preserve that had signs warning people to watch out for hunters.

Then it was back to the hotel for breakfast - a pleasant walk to start the day.
