Angloville Part I, Off to Lipowy Most Hotel with Angloville, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018

I had a pleasant 45 minute stroll from the Ibis Hotel to the group meeting point - it continued to be foggy all morning in Warsaw.  Several of the locals say the climate has changed - there should be snow on the ground by now.  Also, they had no snow at Christmas last year - again, very unusual.

All of the group arrived as scheduled except for two people from California.  It turns out they overslept and did not have their phones on (they ended up taking a commercial bus and then a taxi to the hotel, at their own expense).  The rest of us took the bus ride to the hotel - 90 minutes riding, then 30 minutes break at a cafe/store and gas station, then a final 90 minutes.  The hotel is really out in the country.  After riding on very nice highways (locals told me that the new roads were built with EU money after Poland joined the EU), we turned at the sign for the hotel.  I thought we were back in Westford - the last 5 kilometers was dirt road.  Finally we reached Lowy Most Golf Club and Hotel and had a nice lunch of tomato and rice soup, followed by roast pork, mashed potatoes and salad.

The hotel is surrounded by the golf course in a beautiful wooded area.

The bar is decorated for fall holidays.

The hotel also has a pool, sauna and spa.  Plus there is a large recreation area in the basement with a room for ping-pong, another room for foosball and a large room with a pool table and places to sit with friends.  Our rooms are quite comfortable.  It is a very nice place to spend the week.
